How to make moong dal halwa at home

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED TO MAKE MOONG DAL HALWA.

•1 tsp small cardamom powder

•1/4 raisins

•1 mawa

•1 cup desi ghee

•1 cup moong dal

•1-1/2 cups sugar

•1/4 cup cashew nuts

•1/4 cup almonds

~Method to make Moong Dal Halwa:-

•First of all, wash the moong dal properly and keep it soaked in water for 2 to 3 hours.

•After this, grind the lentils in a mixer, but do not make it very fine. Now put the kadhai on the gas and put ghee in it and heat it.

•Now put lentils in a pan and heat it on medium heat and keep stirring the dal with a ladle.

•Do this for 20 to 25 minutes. When the lentils are fried well, take them out in a vessel.

•Add mawa to the pan and fry it on low flame. When the mawa is fried, then add the lentils to it.

•Now mix sugar and its equal water in a vessel, heat it on the gas and make syrup.

•You put this syrup in the lentils and also add raisins, cashews. Now fry the halwa on low flame for 5 to 7 minutes and switch off the gas.

•Now add ground cardamom to the halwa.

•Your Moong Dal Halwa is ready. Now you can add almonds and serve it to everyone.
