•Cooking time: 20 minutes
•Total time: 30 minutes
~Method:-
STEP 1: Knead semolina and wheat flour.
First of all take a big bowl and put wheat and semolina flour in the bowl. Then by adding little water in the bowl, knead a hard dough exactly like a poori. There is no need to add elasticity to the dough now. Take a wet clean cloth and keep the cloth covered with the dough for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove the cloth from the dough and now start kneading the dough well, if the dough is sticking in the hands, then apply a little oil in the hands. Knead the dough continuously for about 4 to 5 minutes and make the chicken more soft. Do not use water for applying elasticity. Now put the wet cloth back on the dough and after half an hour apply elasticity again. Do this for 3 times in a row.
STEP 2: Gol Gappa dough is ready.
The dough for making gol gappas is ready by kneading it well. Now break small balls of the dough and put a little oil on the hand, then take a ball and make it flat by pressing it between the hands or roll the ball on a rolling ball and put the dough on a dry cloth. Keep it aside and likewise make all the gol gappas.
STEP 3: Put oil in a pan and heat it.
Take a large pan and put it on the gas on high flame. Put oil in the pan and heat it well. When the oil is hot enough, then lift the dough from the cloth and put it one by one in the pan. Press the gol gappas in the middle with light pony pressure and flip it so that the gol gappas swell and fry them till they become crispy and light brown and take out the prepared gol gappas from the pan and keep them in the pan and let it cool down. After cooling, break a little from the top and serve it by adding boiled potatoes, chutney, ground cumin, chaat masala, salt and red chili. Dried spicy gol gappas are ready.
