Make amazing tasty poha instantly.


•Poha is one such dish which can be prepared in a jiffy. It is eaten as a popular breakfast in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Whenever you feel like eating something light, you can easily make Poha. But many people make poha at home, but it cannot be made soft and edible. Know here the easy recipe of making Poha.


•2 cups poha

•2 tbsp peanuts

•1 tbsp mustard oil or refined

•1 big onion chopped

•A whole red chili

•A pinch of Fennell(sauf)

•1 tomato finely chopped

•2 green chilies chopped

•1/2 tsp mustard, 7-8 curry leaves

•A small piece of ginger grated

•1/4 tsp turmeric powder

•1/4 tsp red chili powder

•1/4 tsp coriander powder

•Half a lemon

•1/4 tsp sugar

•Salt to taste

•Coriander chopped


•First of all, clean the poha and put it in a large steel sieve and wash the poha thoroughly by hand by putting the strainer under the tap. After this keep the sieve aside so that the extra water drains out. Meanwhile, put a pan or pan on the gas and heat it by adding oil.

•After the oil is hot, first fry the peanuts and take them out in a vessel. After this, put mustard in the pan and let it crackle. After this add curry leaves, green chilies, grated ginger, whole red chilies and a pinch of fennel. Wait a few seconds, add onion and fry all the things in oil. Do not turn the onion red.

•After this add chopped tomatoes and melt them by adding a little salt. After this add all the turmeric, coriander powder and chili powder and fry a little. After this add poha and mix all the things. Now add salt as per taste.

•After mixing all the things, squeeze the lemon and add sugar and mix everything again. If the poha seems a bit dry, sprinkle it with a little water in your hand and stir again. Remember, do not roast the poha for a long time, otherwise it will become tough.

~Serving method:- 

•Finally garnish it with green coriander and serve hot.

~Change in taste:-

If you want, you can also add finely chopped raw potatoes to it, but it will have to be fried by putting it in oil in the beginning.
