How to make badam-pista barfi.

“HOW TO MAKE BADAM-PISTA BARFI.”

•Sweets made from almonds and pistachios are liked by all, but this sweet contains a lot of ingredients. So it is a bit difficult to make. Today we will talk to you about how you can easily make delicious sweets like halwai at home with less ingredients.

INGREDIENTS FOR BADAM – PISTA BARFI

•Ghee – 1 tbsp

•Milk Powder – 2 cups

•Sugar – ½cup

•Almonds – ½cup

•Pistachios(pista) – ¼cup

•Pistachio essence – 2 drops

•Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp

•Water – as required

•Preparation time: 10 minutes

•Cooking time: 10 minutes

•Total time: 20 minutes

~Method:-

STEP 1: Grind almonds and pistachios in a mixer.

First of all, take a bowl filled with hot water and soak almonds in the bowl. Let the almonds soak in hot water for 30 minutes so that the almonds become soft and easy to grind. After 30 minutes, take out the almonds from the water and take off the almond peel. Place the peeled almonds in a plate and allow the almond water to dry well. Now take a mixer jar and add dried almonds and pistachios and grind them finely. Do not use water while grinding.

STEP 2: Make the barfi.

Now take a pan and put it on the gas on medium flame. Put sugar and water in a pan and keep it for boiling. When sugar dissolves well in water and syrup is made, then add almond-pistachio paste, milk powder and pistachio essence to the pan and mix well. Now keep stirring the mixture continuously on low flame and make a thick paste. Keep in mind that the paste should not burn. When the paste starts to boil lightly, then add ghee and cardamom powder and mix. Now the paste has started thickening, turn off the gas and put the paste on a plate greased with butter paper and let it cool down a bit. After the paste cools down slightly, give the paste a square shape and make it equally thin on top and sprinkle finely chopped dry fruits with fingers and cut into desired shape with a knife. Keep the chopped barfi in a plate and keep it in the outside air for 4 hours so that the barfi gets set well and after 4 hours Badam-Pistachio Barfi is ready.
